For more than twenty years, Attorney Daniel McGowan has built his reputation on personal service, experience, professional ability and a genuine dedication to providing creative and innovative approaches to complex legal issues in the areas of Florida elder law, Florida probate law, Ohio elder law, Ohio probate law, Pennsylvania elder law, Pennsylvania probate law and the probate process and in civil trial work.
As a Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania elder law attorney and and an Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania Probate Lawyer, Daniel McGowan has been recognized for his contributions to the probate court and the probate process by appointment to the Florida Probate Rules Committee. Attorney McGowan is an also an active member of the Estate Planning and Trust sections of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland and the Lawyers Guild of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, and the Elder and Special Needs Section of the Ohio State Bar Association.
Daniel McGowan was named by the President of the Florida Bar to serve on the Florida Probate Rules Committee and is an active member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association. Daniel McGowan is also an active member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and is an Executive Committee Member of the Estate Planning Institute of the Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is the outline chair for the annual Estate Planning Institution in Cleveland. Daniel McGowan is an AV Rated attorney.
As both an Ohio Probate Lawyer and Florida probate lawyer, Daniel McGowan has been awarded a Distinguished rating by Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and litigation excellence. Mr. McGowan has been involved in some of the largest probate litigation disputes in Florida, and has handled complex international inheritance and estate disputes. Mr. McGowan has been a regular commentator on issues of probate court, the probate process, probate law, estate planning, will contests, estate litigation, and power of attorney abuse.
